Tracking the timing of bird migration

MigrantWatch engaged birdwatchers to understand arrival and departure dates of migratory birds to different regions of the country with a view to first generating a baseline, and then understand changes over the years. Over the 7 years that the project was operational, it collected over 30,000 records of migratory birds. In 2014, it was closed, and all data uploaded to the eBird-India platform, where it remains available for download and exploration.
